Compressors

Squeezed, sat on, and held down. One knob each.

The five compressors in the bundle: Girn, Doup, Stoor, Welt and Dunt

Compressor Bundle

All five compressors

All five compressors together.

Girn: a guitar headstock carved into a snarling face, cracked and bug-eyed in a bench vice, sweat and splinters flying, its lamp blazing

Guitar Compressor

Squeezed until the wood talks back.

Doup: a hippo in red long johns sunk into a crushed green bass amp, its side split and its speaker torn through the grille

Bass Compressor

He’s not moving ’til it’s crushed.

Stoor: a cheap ivory rack box flattened between a valve box and a power amp, its face cracked and weeping, its lamp lit, the smoke thick round it

Drum Bus Compressor

Came with the studio. Nobody dared move it.

Welt: a drumstick boxer landing a punch on a battered microphone boxer in a ring built on a snare drum, spit flying, the crowd roaring and the brass ring bell clanging

Ding ding.

Dunt: a clown drumming a toy kit inside a bouncy castle knocked flat around her, two room mics on stands at the back, the blower's red lamp lit

Drum Room Compressor

Hire at your own risk.
